Testing ... testing ... is this thing on?
For those who don't know, we welcomed a sweet baby girl to our family this summer. Audrey Elizabeth was born on August 10, and we've been adjusting to life with a newborn over the last couple of months. Now that life has settled down a bit, I'm happy to be getting back to crafting. That means my monthly creative workshops are back! Just in time for some holiday crafting you won't want to miss. Check out my events page for details on three upcoming workshops!
I will be back soon with photos of the projects we'll be making at these workshops. Just wanted to pop in and blow the dust off this old thing and share our new baby excitement. We are over the moon in love with this little girl. :)

A Muse Artstamps - For Sale
Just a reminder about the stamps I have for sale! All albums have been updated, so what you see is what I have left.
Clear Sets
All wood mounted stamps are $2 each, and all clear sets and punches have a price listed with the photo. Please keep in mind that almost all of these items have been used in classes, and are not in perfect condition. Most have my initials written on the side of the wood block, and most are stained. Of course, they all still work just fine. :)
Please email me at lyndsaybreid@yahoo.com with your requests - first come, first served. Paypal payments preferred, but let me know if you need to pay another way.

Celebrating with a Creative Chick
I have something very exciting to share with you today! My sweet friend Jenn Shurkus asked her creative friends to help her out with a blog feature this month. She's sharing a personal creation every day, along with a creation by one of her friends. The theme is ocean/summer/nautical ... which shouldn't surprise you if you know Jenn at all. ;) I've so enjoyed seeing all of the creations so far, and am so excited to share mine today!
I'm sure you've all seen the specimen punch art creations floating around the internet for the past few years. They still tickle my fancy though! I had this Martha Stewart shadow box thing sitting around, and decided to use that for my project. This was so much fun to create. I hope you like it!
A Muse Studio: Cardstock (Sage, Latte, Sky), Diamond Glitter, Latte Perfect Pearls, Sky Satin Ribbon
Etc: Martha Stewart Shadow Box, Martha Stewart Sand Dollar Double Punch, Glue Dots, 3D Adhesive, Xyron
And ... a BONUS creation, courtesy of Lily! Lily is my daughter - she's 11 years old and crafty like her mama. Although, her creations sometimes put me to shame. I mean ... check out her project! Sure, I can punch some shapes out of cardstock and tie some ribbon. But this girl can paint!
I KNOW, RIGHT?!
So, here's the exciting part. Lily and I are donating our items to Jenn's silent auction with proceeds going towards medical expenses for her good friend's mom.
Get all the details and BID ... here!
Bid often and bid high, people. The highest bidder will get 31 creations by Jenn Shurkus alone, PLUS a bunch of creations from her crafty friends - like these two I've shared today. :)

Birthday Wishes
Just a quick share today. Yesterday, I whipped up this beauty of a card for my cousin's birthday. So quick, so easy, but look at how gorgeous! It was totally inspired by the second card on this post by a fellow A Muse Studio consultant. (By the way, how CUTE is the first card in that post? I totally have to do that, seeing as how I'm the google-eye queen!)
Thanks for the inspiration, Sunghee!
Let me be honest with you. At first, I didn't get Washi Tape. *gasp* ... the horror, right?!
But now? Now I'm addicted! I want to put it on everything. :)
All supplies are A Muse Studio - available for purchase through my webstore. Easy peasy!
Stamps: Mesh Background, Contemporary Greetings, Beautiful Botanicals
Inks: Lemon Whip, Grass, Bubblegum, Bermuda
Etc: Bubblegum Buttons, Vanilla Twine, Washi Tape (Spring & Summer), Mini Glue Dots, Diamond Glitter, Sakura Quickie Glue Pen, Clear Twinkle Stickers, Sugar Cardstock
